野马群中浪迹8年后 家马重回主人身边

It’s 2022 now. Eight years ago, Shane Adams lost his horse, Mongo. They were camping in the mountains when Mongo ran away.

For three years, he never stopped searching for his horse. Adams got in touch with the police. He did everything he could to make sure people knew that Mongo was missing. By 2017, Adams had given up hope. He thought that Mongo died, so he lost Mongo forever.

Adams, said he felt “pretty lost” without his horse. He went through a divorce, lost his home and hurt his brain in a serious car accident. Then, in September of this year, Adams finally got some good news: His horse Mongo was found. On that day, Adams got a message that Mongo had been found among a herd(群) of wild horses. The next day, he drove four hours to pick up Mongo.

Mongo was found by the police because of his big size. Mongo also did not try to fight like the rest of the horses. He quieted down quickly. Adams said, “This was really good, the only positive thing to happen to me in two years.”
