Greta Thunberg is the Swedish teenager. She is the voice for young people facing the climate change danger. She was named as Time magazine's 2019 Person of the Year on 11th December, 2019. The 16-year-old girl first made headlines with the strike by herself against global warming outside Sweden's parliament in August 2018. "We can't just continue living as if there was no tomorrow, because there is a tomorrow. That is all we are saying," Thunberg told Time.
The magazine interviewed Thunberg aboard the sailboat. It took her from the United States back to Europe after a months-long journey through North America. She wanted to raise environmental awareness. Thunberg has taken her straight message — listen to the scientists to world leaders, accusing them of inaction. The Swedish girl was in Madrid as the award was announced at a UN climate forum. The forum worked on saving the world from runaway global warming.
