Thus, both organizations and individuals need a healthy balance. Employees should learn to use AI critically—checking its outputs while making good use of its strengths and avoiding its pitfalls.
Building an AI-ready workplace requires more than just technology. Zhu’s study suggests companies must address ethical concerns, protect data privacy, and set up responsible management systems. He proposes an eight-step framework that guides organizations from early experimentation to a more integrated and purposeful use of AI. By partnering with industry and academic groups, companies can better align AI with their long-term goals.
