A New Jersey woman was found dead just a few meters from her home.

The 66-year-old Olivia Benito may have fallen and then froze to death outside a neighbor’s home, just two doors down from her Lakewood house.

“We found no wounds or any signs of foul play at this time,” said a policeman. The policeman said the cause of death is under investigation to see if the woman died from health problems.

Earlier Saturday night, Benito and a neighbor went to a party at the Lakewood Elks, ending the night at the neighbor’s home.

“Then at about midnight she left to walk to her house and she never made it there,” the policeman said.

On Sunday morning, the neighbor found Benito in the snow.
