There was a big fire in Lahaina, Hawaii. Lahaina is a town on the pretty island of Maui.

Sadly, about 111 people lost their lives. This fire became the worst one in Hawaii since 1959 when Hawaii became a state. This fire destroyed (摧毁) many buildings in different places. Three fires started on the island at the same time. The fire in Lahaina was the worst one. No one knows why the fire started.
