双腿戴假肢的退役士兵登顶珠峰

It is 2023 now. Hari Budha Magar is from Nepal. He lost both his legs in a bomb attack(炸弹袭击). Last week, he arrived at the top of Mount Everest.

Budha Magar started climbing on April 17. It is 13 years after he lost both his legs. The weather was cold. Budha Magar and his team were waiting for clear skies for 18 days. They didn’t have very much oxygen (氧气). But they didn’t quit doing it.

In the end, Budha Magar made it to the highest point of the mountain. He is the first person with amputations (截肢) above both knees to climb up Mount Everest.
