Gholamreza Ardeshiri is from Iran. He is 58 years old. These days, he becomes popular. Why? Because he is different from most people. He stopped eating food one day in 2006 and has depended only on fizzy drinks(碳酸饮料) for energy ever since.

Gholamreza said that one night in 2006, he woke up with a strange feeling in his mouth. He felt like an object like hair was inside his mouth. He visited many doctors, but none of them could tell him what was wrong with him. In the end, he decided to shun food and he gets all his energy from fizzy drinks. His family doesn’t eat in front of him, because just seeing them makes him sick.

He drinks these sugary drinks almost exclusively(完全地). He also drinks only half a glass of water and maybe a glass of tea every week. He lost 32 kilos since he started drinking soft drinks. The 58-year-old Iranian man knows about the risks of drinking a lot of sugar-rich fizzy drinks. He goes to the hospital to check his health often. Every time, the doctor tells him that he has no serious health problems.
