巴黎公投禁止共享电动滑板车:易引发交通事故

It is 2023 now. Five years ago, people in Paris started using shared e-scooters (共享电动滑板车). Paris is one of the first cities to have shared e-scooters.

E-scooters can go at twenty-seven kilometers an hour. People can hire them by a phone app (应用软件). But the number of accidents (事故) about e-scooters is increasing. Some people do not wear a helmet. They ride among cars. They leave the scooters in parks or on roads.

A referendum(公民投票) took place last week. 90% of the people are not for shared e-scooters. They say that e-scooters can make people in danger.
