Gillian Burnett and Garth Saunders got the call every parent fears. Their 20-month-old son, Waylon Saunders, fell into a swimming pool at the daycare. He was underwater for about 5 minutes. When he was finally pulled out of the water, he had no pulse (脉搏) and was technically dead.

Waylon was sent to a small hospital. Dr. Nathan Taylor says that everyone dropped everything and came to help. Waylon’s body temperature was very low when he arrived.
