500磅重驼鹿宝宝掉进地下室被困

If you live near Anchorage, Alaska, it’s usual to see a moose(驼鹿) get stuck inside a home. No matter how common it may be, some firefighters couldn’t believe what happened when a call came in, asking for their help to remove a 500-pound baby moose from the basement(地下室) of a nearby home.

Alaska Wildlife Trooper Joseph Morris was one of the experts called to the scene, along with six firefighters. After they arrived, they quickly leaned that a 1-year-old moose weighing about 500 pounds was eating some leaves near the window when he fell in, breaking the window and landing one story down in the home’s basement. A person tranquilized the moose, which made him calm(镇静的) but did not put him to sleep. Firefighters transported(运送) the heavy animal out of the house. It took six strong men to carry the moose out of the home.

While moose are common in Alaska, being up close and personal with one is an unforgettable experience even for the most experienced firefighters. “I can’t even believe it,” Gunnar Romatz said of the peculiar experience. Gunnar continued. “All the while, this moose is just picking its head up, and we were two inches away from this moose. And it just looked at us. We have never been in this situation before!”
