First, a full-text recording is provided. It’s designed to improve your listening ability. You can listen both before and after reading. Before reading, it’s advisable to listen with questions and try to get the main idea of the text. After reading, listening can be a good way to get a deep understanding.

Then, both the online dictionary and the online notebook are offered. While reading, if you come across new or difficult words, just click on each word, both the Chinese meanings and example sentences will show up. The online notebook is one of its biggest features. You can add the new words to your online notebook and go over them anytime.

After reading, choose the best answer for each question. Checking the answers and understanding why is also necessary. If you want to improve your spoken English, 3-5 sentences are chosen for you to practice your pronunciation as well.
