Bryan Tsiliacos was nervous about turning 30 in 2023.

One day, he decided to write down all the things he was grateful for in his life. “And at that moment, I realized that every wonderful thing that has happened to me was thanks to the love and kindness from others,” he said. In order to give back, Bryan set the goal of completing 30 acts of kindness before his 30th birthday. 

For his first act, Bryan made more than 400 cakes for firefighters. For his second act, he gave 150 supply kits(物资包) to middle schools. Around $12,000 of supplies were given free by 18 sponsors(赞助人) from across the country. For his latest third one, Bryan prepared 118 care boxes and gave them to local animal shelter(收容所) workers personally. Each box had healthy snacks, some oils, vitamins and much more to help them stay healthy both in body and mind.

“Just seeing the smiles on their faces is the reason why I’m doing this,” Bryan said. He has been recording his acts of kindness on social media. He hopes that others will see them and be encouraged to give back as well.
