It's 2022 now. Roger Federer is a Swiss tennis player. He is 41 years old. He is one of the best players in the world. He says he isn’t going to play tennis in the future.

The man played tennis for more than 24 years. During these years, he played more than 1,500 matches. In these matches, he won more than 20 Grand Slam(大满贯) singles titles. His first Grand Slam title was won at Wimbledon, UK in 2003.

Federer hurt his knee in a match in the past. The doctor helped to fix it. But he couldn’t play as well as before. So he decided to retire(退役). He said that it was time for him to stop. On September 24th, he ended his work in tennis after the Laver Cup in London, UK.
