On Monday, a 6.8-magnitude earthquake(地震) hit Luding county, Southwest China’s Sichuan province. A panda mother took her two “kids” out from the indoor area(区域) to an open area in the Chengdu panda base.

Two young pandas headed out of the indoor area in a hurry. The panda mother followed. We can see that in a video(录影) on the Internet.

The earthquake hit Luding county at 12:52 pm Monday. The China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda checked(检查) the base after the earthquake. They find that all workers and pandas were safe.
