BEIJING, Feb. 12 — The Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics continued in the early hours of Thursday, Beijing time, with Team China adding a bronze medal to its tally.
Veteran skater Ning Zhongyan claimed bronze in the men’s 1,000m speed skating final, crossing the line in 1:07.34.
Su Yiming got China on the medal board on the very first day of competition, finishing third in the men’s snowboard big air final to secure the team’s first medal of the Games.
Gu Ailing followed up with a silver medal in the women’s freeski slopestyle final.
