The “Lanying R6000”, a 6-ton-class tilt-rotor unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) independently developed by the United Aircraft Group, successfully completed its maiden flight in Shifang City, Deyang, Sichuan Province, on December 28th. This achievement marks a significant breakthrough for China in mastering the core tilt-rotor technology.
As an innovative aircraft model, the “Lanying R6000” adopts the tilt-rotor design technology to realize the seamless, safe and stable switching of rotor attitudes between vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) and high-speed level flight modes. It has a cruise speed of 550 kilometers per hour, a maximum range of 4,000 kilometers, a service ceiling of 7,620 meters and a maximum commercial payload of 2,000 kilograms.
