Earlier this month, superstar Wang Leehom shared the stage with six unexpected performers—six humanoid robots—at his concert in Chengdu. The robots, developed by Hangzhou-based Unitree Robotics, joined him for a powerful rendition of his hit song Open Fire.
Moving in remarkable sync with human dancers, the robots executed a series of complex dance maneuvers including arm swings, leg kicks, and turns. The performance reached its climax with all six robots simultaneously performing a difficult backflip, wowing the audience.
The feat caught the attention of Tesla CEO Elon Musk, who shared a video of the performance on social media on December 20 with the comment "Impressive."
