People celebrated(庆祝) the first Earth Day 52 years ago. They celebrated it in the United States. But today, people in many countries celebrate Earth Day. They come from China, Canada, France, and so on.

As children, you can also do many things with friends and family this Earth Day. You can plant trees or clean up a park or street. You can turn off the lights to save energy(能源). You can ride a bike instead of taking a car. Choosing to walk or bike helps keep the air clean.

Everyone can do something to make a difference(有影响) to the Earth.
