On November 18 local time, all three major U.S. stock indexes closed lower. The Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) fell 498.5 points, a drop of 1.07%. The S&P 500 slid 0.83%, and the Nasdaq Composite Index declined 1.21%.

Most major tech stocks traded lower. Amazon and AMD both plummeted over 4%, Microsoft and Nvidia dropped more than 2%, and Tesla slid over 1%.
