In a funny adventure, Doubao, the capybara (水豚), escaped from a zoo in Yangzhou, China. During its escape, the animal enjoyed freedom and even grew fatter!

The zoo at Zhuyuwan Park reported that when Doubao finally returned, its fur looked smooth and it gained 0.5 kilos of weight. Internet users joked that Doubao’s return saved the zoo a lot of money. Now the capybara family is back together. They spend their days happily relaxing in the water and warming themselves in the sunshine.
