Pets will travel in special containers placed in a ___6___ logistics compartment (物流隔间). However, owners cannot visit their pets during the journey.
The ___9___ depends on travel distance and is currently 30% cheaper during the trial period. For example, a trip under 1,000 kilometers costs 360 yuan ___10___ the future standard price of 558 yuan. Each booking includes insurance of up to 2,000 yuan.
Many pet owners are ___11___ about the service. Ms. Wei from Beijing, ___12___ has a 10-year-old cat named Niuniu, said, “This makes traveling much more convenient!” Others, like Ms. Shen from Shanghai, hope for further ___13___, such as dedicated pet carriages where owners can stay with their animals.
Before this trial, pets were not ___14___ on China’s high-speed trains. The idea came from a ___15___ survey last year, where millions supported pet-friendly travel. A railway official stated, “We’ll keep improving services based on people’s feedback.”
