As zhongkao approaches, it’s not always easy to stay motivated (有动力的). Here is a motivation list. On this list, I wrote down every good reason to keep going. Now that zhongkao is coming soon, I want to share this list with you.
Zhongkao will lead me to great places!
Sometimes, thinking about where zhongkao will take us can be really helpful. If you study hard now, you can get into a good high school, and later aim for a great university! Remember that zhongkao is important in our studies. It will bring us lots of chances in the future.
I’ve had a lot of fun during my study.
When I was very stressed, I would feel bad about everything I did. But when I had a hard time studying, I would think about the fun things I did in class. Just remembering those happy times in class made it easier for me to get through the tough moments.
I’m going to have the best summer ever!
To be honest, this thought probably helped me the most. The summer after zhongkao is wonderful. It’s long, and we don’t have to worry about exams for about two months. We can play, sleep, and have a great time. When I was really feeling down, I would look up nice places to go on holiday or think about the fun things I could do with my friends. Even if not all of these plans would happen, just thinking about the future made me feel better about the present.
