宝莲灯：沉香劈山救母记

A goddess by the name of San Sheng Mu lived in the Holy Mother Palace on Huashan Mountain. She always felt bored and lonely. One day, she left her palace for the human world with her attendant (随从), Zhaoxia. And they met Liu Yanchang, a scholar. Liu Yanchang failed an important exam at that time. He was unhappy. So he went to Huashan Mountain alone to make himself feel better. That was when they fell in love.
However, their love was strongly opposed by her elder brother Erlang Shen, a god. With the help of the magic lotus lantern, San Sheng Mu defeated her brother and married Liu Yanchang. Later, she gave birth to a baby son called Chen Xiang. Erlang Shen asked Xiao Tian Quan to steal away the magic lotus lantern and trapped San Sheng Mu under the Huashan Mountain.
Before that, Zhaoxia had secretly sent Liu Yanchang and Chen Xiang away from Huashan Mountain. Chen Xiang learned martial arts (武术) from the God of Thunder. And sixteen years later, he returned to Huashan Mountain to get back the magic lotus lantern. He defeated Erlang Shen and cleaved (劈开) through the Huashan Mountain. Chen Xiang finally got his mother back. The family of three was reunited at last.
