It is 2024 now. 29-year-old Zhang Yang is from Beijing. Whenever there is traditional Chinese opera on TV, she can’t help but stop and watch.

Recently, Zhang especially like Yueju Opera from East China’s Zhejiang province. Last year, performances of New Dragon Gate Inn by young Yueju actors Chen Lijun and Li Yunxiao became popular online. A lot of audiences fell in love with Yueju, including Zhang.
