These days, every student at Engelhard Elementary School gets a new pair of pajamas (睡衣). These pajamas are from EJ’s PJs and Toys for Tots. They were inspired (激发) by Larry Farrish Jr., a bus driver, and a young student named Levi.

On a school day, Farrish found Levi crying. Then he asked the boy what made him upset. Levi said he didn’t have pajamas for the school’s “pajama day”. Farrish wanted to do something to make the boy happy. He went to a store and bought a pair of pajamas for Levi. Their story became popular and made more people join in the kindness.

This week, EJ’s PJs, an organization founded by Patricia Poggi, traveled nearly 800 miles (英里) to Engelhard Elementary. Partnering with Toys for Tots, they brought lots of pajamas for all 300 students at the school.

“We want all of Engelhard Elementary School to have pajamas. We don’t want any of the kids to have the circumstances that little Levi had,” Poggi said.
