The weather was very bad in southeastern(东南部的) Australia last week. It rained a lot. The wind was strong. Thousands of people had to leave their homes. Several people died.

Then, people saw something unusual outside after the rain. It looks like white blankets(毯子). The blankets are spiderwebs(蜘蛛网) . Spiders catch flies and other food in them.

Spiders needed to escape from the water. They made spiderwebs above the ground. When the rain stopped, they flew away with the wind. They found a new place to stay.

These spiders are Red and Black Spiders. They are not dangerous for people. Some people still think that these spiderwebs are scary.
