However, it was not possible to fix(修理) the electricity network in the strong wind. In Geraldton, strong wind made a dust storm. People could not see anything in the dust. 
Such storms were not usual in Western Australia. Weather experts said that such storms came once every 10 years. A tropical storm met cold air. The result was a rare and very heavy storm.
