Earlier in May, Prasanth, who used to work as a tea maker in Sulur, Coimbatore was desperately trying to reach his home in Mayiladuthurai with his family amid the lockdown(封锁). So, on May 18, Prasanth saw a motorbike that was parked outside a workshop in Sulur and ran away with it. He later took his wife and two children and drove around 200 km to his hometown.

On Saturday Kumar received a call from a parcel agency asking him to pick up a parcel in his name and that he would have to pay them Rs 1,400 upon delivery. To his surprise, Kumar saw his stolen motorbike and paid money to get it back. “At least I got the motorbike back and that too in good condition. It was a huge handicap without the motorbike especially after I reopened my workshop for business,” Kumar said adding that he has withdrawn his police complaint.
