A creative mum turns her daughter’s lunches into famous people including singers Beyonce and Mick Jagger.
Gilat Orkin, 50, has always been interested in art. She started making portraits out of food because her youngest daughter Eylon, 12, didn’t like eating lunch at school. The portraits have been successful in getting Eylon interested in food and having some nutritious food happily.
The mum-of-two, from Tel Mond, Israel, said she wanted to teach her daughter by using pitta 
bread to depict famous people, sports players, and cartoons in the life. She was able to create Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter from Alice in Wonderland, dancing star Bob Marley, Heroes singer David Bowie, Queen front man Freddie Mercury and actor Joaquin Phoenix.
