Weddings are important in every country. In western countries the bride’s wedding dress is very important. Sometimes it is the dress of her mother or even her grandmother at her wedding.
Erica Anderson wore her mother's old wedding dress from the 1960s at her own wedding in 2015. Anderson ended up wearing her mom's dress after she found out that her own dress wouldn't arrive in time for her wedding. She ordered it in a wedding dress shop 3 months ago. "On my most important day, I was honoring one of the most important people in my life," Anderson said.
Anderson posted a photo of herself wearing the dress to Reddit in December 2019, and it quickly went viral. People also compared the dress to the costumes from the film Midsommar. Anderson called it a wonderful compliment.
