While still waiting for packages from shopping spree on "November 11", Chinese online shoppers are ready to spend on Black Friday. More and more Chinese online shoppers are joining the event. According to data, Chinese consumers spent over $33 billion on overseas shopping websites in 2013, and the overseas spending will increase significantly this year.

Black Friday is the Friday following Thanksgiving Day in the US, often regarded as the beginning of the Christmas shopping season. It is very popular in Western countries. People usually stand in a line from 1 am to wait for the shopping.

Amazon China announced on Nov 25 the first "Amazon Overseas Shopping Day" and Amazon overseas shopping website will launch on Nov 28. The "Amazon Overseas Shopping Day" will start on 9 am on Nov 28 and end at midnight Nov 29. Amazon will offer over 35,000 products from over 100 brands. It hopes that it can take much larger market in China.

However shopping online from overseas is not easy, the process is more complex than shopping in China."When I first started buying things overseas, I bought a sweater for my mother on Amazon US," said Lu, an overseas buyer. "My baby was two weeks old when the sweater arrived." Zhang Bei also said the things overseas were usually more expensive than those in China.

Overseas purchases require a credit card that allows foreign transactions, usually US dollar or euro. It is a big problem for Chinese people to buy things on Black Friday, too.
