Jaxon has become the youngest person to climb Britain’s highest mountains. He is only three years old. He did that for his first best friend.
When Jaxon went to the nursery for the first time, he wasn’t very happy. He would always come home crying. That changed after he met Ralph. They spent so much time together. They became close friends. But Ralph died of an illness when he was two years old. Jaxon was very sad for that.
He wanted to do something for Ralph. So he did the Three Peaks Challenge with his dad. It was to raise money for a children’s charity. Jaxon climbed all the way up each peak. His father didn’t carry him at all. But he had to carry him back down.
“I’m so proud of him,” said his father. “Jaxon thinks Ralph is in the sky. He still asks about him. He knows we climbed the mountains for Ralph.”
