Sophie Cooke is a 24-year-old management consultant. She travels from London to Düsseldorf in Germany to work each week. On March 25, Sophie caught the flight BA3271. It took off at 7:46 a.m. and was expected to arrive in the German city at 9:40 a.m.  
However, just in one hour, the pilot announced that the plane was about to land in Edinburgh! Edinburgh is 800 kilometers away from Düsseldorf. Everyone just thought it was a joke. After two and a half hours in Edinburgh, the flight set off again—this time directly to Düsseldorf. 
The airline said the problem was caused by a wrong flight plan. What a silly mistake!
