Bamboos look like common trees. We can see them everywhere. Actually, it is a useful material. In our daily life, many things are made of bamboo, such as baskets, furniture and even houses. That is a surprising material.
A 60-year-old Chinese carpenter(木匠), by the name of Yang, has found a new way to use the material. He has created his own version of Chanel shoes with bamboo. Really? How did the carpenter make it?  
Most people can’t believe that. But it is true that the shoes are very beautiful. After collecting two suitable bamboo trunks(树干), the carpenter first cut and polished them. Next, he drew marks around them to cut out the shoe shape. He then polished them some more. Finally, Yang made two wooden Chanel logos and attached them on the top of the shoes. Yang finished the whole job in just one day. The shoes surprised everyone when they first saw them.
