世界上最长最深海底隧道——港珠澳大桥海底隧道完美亮相

The final section of the China's Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge submarine tunnel is now completed(完成). The immersed tunnel is 6.7 kilometers long and consists of 33 tubes. 
After completion, it will be the longest and deepest undersea tunnel in the world. It lines 40 metres below the seabed and it's capable of dealing with 300,000 tons of traffic. It is flanked by two artificial islands to accommodate the transition to the bridge that runs towards Hong Kong and Macau. 
The whole project will be used by the end of 2017. Construction of the main body is basically finished. It includes the islands in the tunnel. What's left is the 70,000 square metres of buildings on the two islands. According to our plans, all of the jobs are nearing completion. It is a difficult task for people to complete this big bridge. The engineers and workers spent 9 years to build it. We should say thanks to them because this bridge they have built is beneficial for our society.
