Tom was five years old. He lived in a farm. There were five ducks in the farm. These ducks were white with orange feet. They lived in a little wooden house near the pond. 
Every day, the little boy and the ducks walked to the pond. The ducks went into the water. The little boy sat on the bank and saw them swimming in the pond. He talked to the ducks and they quacked back.
One day, one duck was gone. The little boy didn’t find it. At night, everyone sat down for dinner. One dish looked like a duck. The boy didn’t want to eat any food and burst into tears.
