Getting your baby to sleep is never an easy task, with many parents making all kinds of attempts to put their newborn to sleep. But tired parents are now glad thanks to a new $25 toy on sale at Kmart, with many saying it has worked a treat for their little ones.

Mother-of-two, Emma, said the cheap Baby Sleepy Glow Bear has been a “lifesaver” at her house. Although the bear was originally bought for her newborn, her two-and-a-half year old loved it and has fallen asleep within 10 minutes every night with it in her bed.

“It was a nightmare to put my 2.5-year-old child to bed lately! He was getting out of bed now and then, and coming up with every excuse to not stay in bed,” she said. “I had to sit with him until he fell asleep... that is until a week ago. My mother-in-law got this for our newborn, but my 2.5-year-old son decided it was his.”

Emma said that her son usually has a night light and white noise to help him sleep, until one day she decided to give this bear a try. “He was asleep within 10 minutes. I thought maybe he was just very tired. Tried it again the next night, same thing,” she said.

At the time of posting her thoughts Emma was on night three of the toy being a success, which led her to believe that her family has found a winner. “It’s well worth the money in my eyes,” she said.

Emma isn't the only person to praise this new addition to Kmart's toy range, as many other parents commented on her post with similar stories. At the time of writing, her post had received 187 likes and 140 comments.
