健忘的伊丽莎白
健忘的伊丽莎白

Elizabeth was born in a rich family. Servants did all the housework for her. She liked all kinds of delicious food but never did sports. She spent most time playing cards and going to parties. She always went to bed late at night and got out of her bed in the afternoon. She didn’t often use her brain(大脑) because her servants did everything for her.

However, Elizabeth began to worry about her health when she was fifty years old. She got fatter and fatter and couldn't remember things well. Sometimes she forgot what happened a few minutes ago. She had to go to the doctor.

"I often forget things and it makes me sad," Elizabeth said. The doctor asked, "How long have you been like this?" "Oh! I have forgotten what you said just now,"Elizabeth answered. "I said you’d pay me the money first," the doctor said.
