          Chandler went to a restaurant for lunch. He put his overcoat on a chair next to him. There was nothing in the pockets of his overcoat. After he had his meal, he stood up and took his overcoat. He found there was a wallet in one of his pockets. He saw a waiter near him, so Chandler said to him, “Somebody put a wallet in my pocket. I have no time to wait for him. I have to go. Take it, please. When he comes back, give it to him.” The waiter took the wallet and went away.

         Then a man came with an overcoat just like Chandler’s. The man said, “I’m sorry. I took your overcoat and you got mine. Please give me my overcoat.” Chandler answered, “Here is your overcoat, but I gave the waiter the wallet. He’ll give it to you.”

          Chandler called the manager, but the manager said, “We have no waiters here. We only have waitresses. He must be a thief!”
