Many people think blue eyes are beautiful. Many actors and models have blue eyes. There are just 17% of the population(人口) in the world having them. Some people with brown eyes have to wear colored contact lenses(隐形眼镜) to turn them blue. But that will soon change. 
Now, a new medical operation is developed(开发) by California company Stroma Medical(加州基质医学公司). The operation can turn brown eyes blue. The operation itself only takes about 20 seconds. But it takes several weeks to turn brown eyes blue.
The medical industry does not accept the operation. They think eyes are easily hurt. And the operation is dangerous.
