After receiving reports of illegal practices, the organizing committee for the 2017 Beijing Marathon have promised to place a lifetime ban on those who cheated during the race.
The wrongdoings included running under the name of others, taking part in without approval or with non-official number cloth.
The committee said these practices harm the marathon spirit and order, break the rules of being fair and just, and create danger for other runners. It will start an investigation(调查) and try to find the rule breakers. It also promised to ban them for life from running again in the event, which means if anyone is found cheated in the game, he cannot take part in the game the whole life. It will also persuade Chinese Athletics Association to take further action. The committee said the race is not just about finishing the 42.915 km run, but an attitude about life and a form of self-accomplishment.
About 30,000 runners from 33 countries and regions took part in the event. The race started on Tian’anmen Square at 7:30 a.m. and ended at Olympic Park in the north, lasting about six hours.
Marathon races have become popular among non-professionals in China among the growing awareness of health.

D The one who takes part in it without an official number cloth.

Wrongdoing included running under the name of others, taking part in without approval or with non-official bib numbers.

3.The underlined word “lifetime” in the first paragraph means ______in Chinese.

A 时间的

It also promised to ban them for life from running again in the event, which means if anyone is found cheated in the game, he cannot take part in the game the whole life.

C At 7:30 p.m.

D At 11:30 p.m.
