By the end of this year, you can pay for bus ride with a mobile phone on all buses in Hangzhou. Hangzhou is the first city in China to do so on all its buses, even earlier than Shanghai, Beijing and Shenzhen. And it makes Hangzhou a mobile application pioneer(移动应用先锋).
       Hangzhou Public Transportation Group（杭州公交集团） said on Tuesday that it had mobile payment equipment set in its 5,000 downtown buses in June. And the left 3,000 buses running in other parts of the city will be finished by the end of December this year.
       Mobile payment is accepted and used by Hangzhou people in their everyday life. It can be used in fields like shopping, eating, taking a taxi－all except for taking a bus. Almost 3.9 million passenger trips are made on public buses every day in Hangzhou, and cash takes up 48 percent of total income, about 1.7 million yuan a day.
       The company tried the mobile payment system on its No 506 route on August 1. And it was experimented on more lines and buses later. The results were good, pushing us to have all buses take part in the mobile payment.
