A grandmother and her one-year-old grandson had to be rescued from a car in China after her daughter locked the pair inside and walked away. The woman walked away from the vehicle during a family argument while on the way to a family outing from Nanchang to Ji'an. The temperature had reached some 30℃ when the pair were locked in the Audi Q7.

Officers also called the daughter of the grandmother but she hung up the phone in mid-conversation. At last, the officers smashed through the car's windows after the pair began to become uncomfortable with the heat. According to police, the pair were dripping with sweat. The woman finally came back to the vehicle and apologized, thanking police for their help in rescuing the grandmother and her grandson. She said she was sorry for what she had done.
