四种最具攻击性的鲨鱼
四种最具攻击性的鲨鱼

Of the 400 species of sharks that exist today, only around 20 species are large enough to threaten humans. And one of the most aggressive sharks is the bull shark. Bull sharks are the most aggressive sharks towards humans as they often swim in waters people often visit. These sharks also attack humans out of curiosity though humans aren’t actually a part of their menu. They can grow up to 10.8 feet long. Female bull sharks are larger than the males. They weigh about 700 pounds.

Great white sharks are also very aggressive. These sharks are about 20 feet in length and weigh 5,000 pounds. They’re curious hunters. Researchers have found that they generally don’t eat humans and take “sample bites” of their human victims. This nature of these hunters proves to be a fatal bite for humans.

Another aggressive shark is the tiger shark that generally doesn’t hunt in the day. Tiger sharks will eat anything they come in direct contact with. And many specimens are found to have human remains in their stomachs along with license plates, car tires and other trash. They can be 8 to 11 feet long and can weigh 850 to 1400 pounds.

In addition, blue sharks are also aggressive. They are somewhat explorers and are famous for their “exploring bites” on small boats. Such bites prove deadly for most humans. The blue shark is about 12 feet long and weighs about 450 pounds.

Actually, while a particular species may be aggressive, it’ll seldom come in contact with humans if it lives in deep oceans. However, a less aggressive species living in shallow waters along the shoreline will have more attacks, as it’s more likely to come in direct contact with humans. While shark attacks on humans are often reported in the newspaper, the trouble of this species is seldom given due attention. In such situations, it’s difficult to say whether sharks are a threat to humans, or humans are a threat to sharks.
