Winter is coming. It’s cold. What should you eat to keep warm? Here are five kinds of food which can help you keep warm.
Rice with the meat
It helps strengthen your power. It will not make you feel tired, doctor Xia Gongxu from the Nanjing Hospital of Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine says.
Potatoes
Potatoes help fill you up and avoid over eating. They are low in calories and fat, and are a good staple food(主食) choice for those who want to keep fit and stay in shape at the same time.
Chicken and mutton(羊肉) soup
 Dr Zhang Zhonggai from Nanjing says that nutritious food like the chicken and mutton are good choices to beat the cold. Zhang also says that it’s better to enjoy chicken soup instead of eating fried chickens.
Angelica(当归) with beef 
The soup is good for the heart and it is especially suitable for the weak people, like old people, women who just gave birth to babies or those sweat(出汗) easily.
Blood enriching porridge
The porridge includes red dates, red beans, black rice, peanuts and rice. You can soak(浸泡) them together for 40 minutes, and then boil them for ten minutes. You may enjoy the porridge very much.
