Giant pandas Kai Kai and Jia Jia celebrated their birthday in Singaporeon Sept 5 at River Safari. More than 150 people from both China and Singapore took  part in the birthday party. And the party is going to last for 9 days.

     Workers at River Safari made a special cake for the two pandas. They used carrots, apples, biscuit and bamboo to make the cake. The workers also wrote a book for kids to tell the life of the two pandas inSingapore.

     The pair of pandas arrived inSingaporein September 2012. The pandas have brought much joy to visitors from all over the world during these two years. And River Safari held this party to let people know that giant pandas are in danger. They also wanted more and more people to take action to protect giant pandas.
