I teach students aged between 8 and 18 every day. I’m a foreigner and I know that they are always watching me very carefully. Most of the students don’t know my growing background(背景). They often jokingly say, “Oh, Michael, we know you are a very rich man.” It’s true that there are many things I want them to know. Last night, one of my very top students was sitting with me and talking about learning, wisdom(智慧) and how to live successfully. I shared many stories with him about many great people like Thomas Edison, Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, Colonel Sanders and others. They all changed the world. However, none of these people pursued(追求) money.

Money is necessary. But money isn’t everything. Being helpful to others is the most important for everyone.
