A leopard（猎豹）attacked a woman in India. But she killed it. Kamla Devi, 56, was getting water. The cat jumped on her. She fought it for 30 minutes. Finally, the cat died. She is now in hospital. She has many bites, and two broken hands. Devi said, "I thought I was dead, but I did not lose hope." 

    Doctors are surprised she didn’t die. Most people will die in a leopard’s attack. Her doctor said she has bites all over her body. She needed over 100 stitches. She is OK now. One of her friends said, "She is very brave." Another man said she was strong. She lost a lot of blood, but she walked for one kilometre to get help.
