司机收入比医生还高？

On his worst days, Armando, a Cuban taxi driver, makes $60. A doctor in Cuba makes around $45 in a month. 

Armando is a 34-year-old taxi driver. He is one of the rich people in Havana not because his parents leave any money to him. "I’ve been driving a taxi for 15 years," he says with pride. He  told me he rented a taxi from the government. After several years, Armando bought a yellow taxi himself. "I have to pay $20 per month in taxes. But after that, all the money goes straight to me." Armando can get between $20 and $25 to the airport. "I live well here, and I don’t want to leave Cuba. " says Armando.

"Cuba is safe. You see right there?" he says, "There are five security(安全) cameras just on that post, with police watching everyone, 24 hours a day. "If it were in Mexico, a robber would come out right now with a gun and hurt you."

"Tomorrow I’m going to the doctor because my back has been hurting, since I sit so much in the car," says Armando, “and I will give the doctor a gift. In return he will do a good job on me."
