To get to Germany, Mohammed Aziz Qadir walked for eight hours into Turkey .But now he has returned home.“When I first entered the camp I was shocked to see the difference between the Berlin in my mind and what I was seeing.” Mr Qadir, 24, said.
“When I walked into town it was clear I was a camp guy-a refugee.” Many Kurdish(库尔德人的) refugees are returning home, and hundreds of thousands of Syrians, Iraqis and Afghans(叙利亚人,伊拉克人和阿富汗人 ) go back to their countries too.
Mr Qadir had spent two and a half months in a camp in Berlin. He had hoped to open a pizza shop, make enough money to help his family and children .
“The German government gave food and 540 euros to me and my son but it was not enough,” he said. “My son was sad , he didn’t have any friends or relatives and it was hard to find someone to speak to in Kurdish or Arabic.”
Now he is back . “My community welcomed me back,” he said. “My friends came around to drink beer and smoke together, like before.”
